Tea set _ 12 weeks 2019 _ individual

Research has shown that drinking tea -especially the Japanese matcha tea- has beneficial relaxing effects on parkinson patients. But hot tea is often hard to drink with a shaking hand.

Therefore I want to design an modern Japanese inspired ceramic tea set that reduces the spilling of hot water for an early parkinson patient. A shape that compels the hand to use only specified balanced forces -no technology or major mechanics- to reduce the shaking of user’s hand. By doing this, the aesthetic set can be enjoyed together with friends or family.
